Glyn Satterley first came to Scotland from his home in Kent as a Fine Art student, inspired by both the grandeur and bleakness of the Scottish landscape. He returned many times with a camera, determined to capture the magical light and unpredictable weather that fascinated him. He made his home in East Lothian, outside Edinburgh in 1989, but his heart remains firmly rooted in the Scottish Highlands and Islands. His affinity with the land and rapport with the characters within it, are key to his personal style.
